This was an April Fool joke posted on the 1st of April 2001.
I am pleased to announce some exciting news! I have accepted my first major film role in the next James Bond movie. Filming is due to commence at the end of August with the title sequence being filmed at the Royal Opera House. (More info at

As you may be aware, I have always been interested in film having had a small role in True Blue and auditioning for the remake of Sabrina with Harrison Ford but this is a wonderful opportunity to develop this aspect of my career in an environment that I am completely at home. Other members of the company will also be involved and there is an air of excitement as more details are released! I adore James Bond films with Sean Connery being my favourite Bond of all time but I am really looking forward to working with Pierce Brosnan who I had met a few times at the Opera House house before I auditioned with him.
The timing, of course, is perfect with my scenes due to be filmed about 6 weeks after my baby is due - which should be enough time for me to get back into shape as I am still going to class every day and I am planning to do so until right before the birth. As you can see from the photo opposite I have had a little practice in the outfit I will be wearing for the opening sequence although at present we still have to develop a title for the ballet (choreographed by Ashley Page) I am supposed to be rehearsing wearing this outfit.
